Small Hotel with Ingenious Design

Recently my friend posted a picture in Facebook depicting a hotel in Kediri Central Java. The picture caught my attention because the unique design of the hotel. Although it is a small hotel, nevertheless, it was so well designed.

The hotel use common materials and common construction method, but it was arranged cleverly that make the form unique and genuine. The architect did not stick on ordinary and archtypal form, but dare to go beyond and invent fresh new form.

The design also reflects modesty and simplicity. It does not use many embellishment such as cornices or many ornaments. Instead the beauty simply comes from the form itself as a whole.

Whoever the architect is, he already did a good job.
